Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Leadership Studies
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Columbia School of Social Work in 2023, with a specialized focus on clinical practice in health, mental health, and disabilities. As a social worker, I approach therapeutic relationships with a holistic perspective, considering the full scope of a person's life—from environmental and social factors to relational, familial, generational, and physical influences. By understanding the broader context of each individual’s experience, I aim to uncover the underlying factors impacting their well-being and help them build the skills necessary for resilience and effective coping.
I received dual Bachelor of Art degrees in Psychology and Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond in 2021. The University of Richmond’s Psychology and Leadership Studies departments offer interdisciplinary programs that blend theory, research, and practical application to prepare students for impactful careers. During my time there, much of my academic focus and research centered around understanding and advocating for athlete mental health.

Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy
June 2024
I received a certificate from the Cognitive Behavioral Institute in Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy, which integrates mindfulness practices with therapeutic techniques to help clients manage stress, enhance emotional regulation, and promote overall well-being. Mindfulness is an evidence-based approach for treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges, with a focus on cultivating a mindful, non-judgmental attitude.
EMDR
February 2025
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a proven therapeutic approach designed to help individuals process and heal from trauma and distressing memories. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, to facilitate the brain's natural processing mechanisms, reducing the emotional charge associated with traumatic experiences. This evidence-based therapy is effective for treating PTSD, anxiety, and other trauma-related conditions, helping clients achieve greater emotional resilience and healing.
